Hobbies, interests, travels: A lot of my time is spent helping my daughter with her horse and helping to get the horse ready for and attending horse shows. I met my husband on a trip to Canada in 1990 and moved there in 1991. I got homesick and we moved back to Independence in 1996.

Favorite Truman memory or story: There are so many memories it's hard to come up with just one. I really enjoyed working on the school paper as co-sports editor. But my best memories center around all the fun Jennifer Fellers and I had together-whether it was going to basketball or football games or just hanging out.
