Favorite Truman memory or story: Jeff Stockwell dressing up as an eccentric, bejeweled older woman for Spirit Week -- only to have his poor car die on his way to school. Horrifically, he was assisted by a police officer who must have thought he was a lady in distress -- well, from a distance, anyway. The officer gave this delightful "drag queen" many strange looks as Jeff didn't even try to explain his getup!

I also enjoyed being a part of the newspaper staff as it taught me that I actually could write for a living.
