Reunion Feedback:

Comments on the reunion: Thank you to everyone that put this together... it turned out really well. Good Job!

How can we make it better? I think we should maybe combine school years and make a huge Truman Alumni Party.

Message:
It was really good seeing everyone again. It reminded me of walking the halls of Truman High all over again. So many of you have not changed a bit - 20 years has been good to you! Then there were some, I was so glad we had name tags!!! Thanks to all who made time to travel to the event may you have good health and happiness until we all meet again.

: I had a super great time! Special thanks to the Reunion Committee for their time and effort. I didn't have a camera with me all weekend, so I hope more people will send in their party pics.

How can we make it better? You might consider putting together a committee for finding missing graduates. I would certainly be willing to help!

Message: I loved the trivia and slideshow. Would you consider uploading them to this site? It would be fun to see again.

Message: I've never seen such a photogenic group in all my life. Straight white teeth galore! Looks like I missed a great time.

Comments on the reunion: Due to conflicting work schedule I was not able to make the Friday night event, hopefully next time. I had a great time Saturday seeing you guys that I haven't seen in so long. Chris ,Paul, Chad and the rest of you really did a great job on the presentation. It brought back memories!

How can we make it better? Only thing I was a little disappointed with was the picnic said food was served 12:30 -2:30, I was running behind and arrived at 2:10 and the food was gone and they were driving off so My family didn't get a chance to eat. But they loved playing in the water.

Message: Just want to say overall I had a great time and seeing everyone again made me almost feel like it was 86 again. I want to wish everyone and their families well. See you at the next one.

Comments on the reunion: Great time!!!!! The more things change, the more they really stay the same?

How can we make it better? I'd like to check into a private hall in 5 yrs. My voice is still recovering from Paddy O's.

Comments on the reunion: Great to see everyone. Felt like I needed to go around and apologize for all the stupid things I said and did in growing up. Maybe you all forgot. I can only hope. I need to start apologizing for all the stupid things I said at the reunion. Thanks to all who put it together. I would be willing to help with the plans in the future, if you'd have me. Enjoyed myself a lot. Would have liked a little bigger steak for the price. Picnic was nice, but too hot. Maybe try for earlier or later in the year. Granted, booking dates hard to get when you want sometimes. Liked the pictures and the video-well put together.-Thanks Chad! Loved seeing all your kids. Its amazing that our class is able to corrupt the universe with our kids that much.

How can we make it better? Pictures on a wall of peoples kids and have to guess who it is-prize for the winner. More funny stories and guess who it is about. Give people an opportunity to say something to the group? (Except me-I talk too much).

Message: My hope for all of you over the next several years is that God can bless each and everyone of you to the fullest as you all deserve it. Observing everyone at the reunion made me realize even more that God has blessed everyone with special qualities/talents that may have not been apparent (to me anyway) in school, but were amazingly easy to spot as an adult in just one weekend. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Comments on the reunion: I had soooo much fun, ya'll!!!!!!!!! thanks to everyone who planned and all who attended. I haven't been around in so long, and it was 20 years since I've seen many of you, and my heart just overflowed with how much love there is for all of you. and the main reason I'm writing is to tell you all that I wasn't joking and this is not an idle invite....GET YOUR LAZY ASSES TO FLORIDA AND HAVE SOME FUN! What's the point of reconnecting if we let too much time pass again?

Message: See you soon! Party at Peg's beach house...date TBA

Comments on the reunion: The reunion was awesome and the committee and all the volunteers clearly put so much work into it. Thanks for making it happen because without you we would be dead in the water. The happy hour was probably my favorite part of the whole weekend. It was relaxed and fun and everyone was really enjoying the moment.

How can we make it better? That's a tough one. If we do a bar night in 5 years then we'll probably have the room for the whole night and have more input on the music. The room was great at O'Quigleys but when other folks started filtering in a smidge of the vibe was lost and (geez I'm old) the music ended up being loud enough that it was hard to talk. It still rocked, but that's the only thing I could think of.

Comments on the reunion: I had a blast. It was so much fun seeing everyone. Our lives have become so busy that, regardless of our good intentions, it's tough to make time to see one another. So it's good to actually have set time where we can all hang out. It's not so much rehash the good old days (sic) but just to see how everyone is doing now. So many of our classmates are successful on so many different levels. It's not about the jobs, the cars or houses. Those material things are fleeting. Friendships (new and old...even dormant) are the things that truly endure and it was wonderful to see you all, and I for one cannot wait for the next event.

How can we make it better? I agree with Becky. Too loud and uncontrolled Friday. I still love to rock out but I couldn't tell you what was said in the last few conversations I had Friday night and that had nothing to do with alcohol.

Message: Tell everyone you know who should have been there that they missed out. This is going to get better each time.

From: Chad Leabo

Comments on the reunion: Thanks to all who planned the three day extravaganza, You Rock! LOL! I had such a good time. It was great to see everyone. The 3R's of Reunions Regress...reminisce..Regroup! I love the idea of keeping the web site up. Hopefully people can post "milestones" for those of us who are interested. New babies...graduations...new jobs... moves...

How can we make it better? Friday was much too loud and we didn't have the room to ourselves for long enough..maybe find a room that will be ours all night...also appetizers to help absorb some of the alcohol would have helped some of us..ok, it would have helped me.

Message: You guys haven't changed..except Yeager...wow! It was terrific to see all the mini-me's. For those who missed it? You'll get another shot in 5!

From: Elizabeth (Lammers) French

Comments on the reunion: I miss you all already. The stroll down memory lane was incredible. Each one of you have left an everlasting smile on my heart. I want to thank my classmates that traveled from near and especially from far to attend. The weekend wouldn't have been the same without each and everyone of you.

Message: Although it was nice talking to some of your moms and dads while trying to locate you....over the next 5 years if you have a name number or address change please update your bio!

Comments on the reunion: I had a GREAT time and really appreciate all of the hard work that went into the Reunion. Thank you!!!

Friday: I had a blast!! I would recommend next time to choose a place that has better acoustics so it it not so loud. Before the music started it was VERY loud with just people talking, and when the music started it was nearly impossible to communicate. When the music started I noticed some people calling it quits and leaving. I think the DJ could have done a MUCH better job of music selection as well. Getting us all together creates such a unique moment, and the right music is the icing on the cake to have a truly great experience.

Saturday: Rocked. It was wonderful!!!

How can we make it better? Find a better Bar facility that is more condusive to a reunion type setting. I would be great if they had a better set up of serving food as well.

Message: Thank you all for making my first reunion such a fun experience. I am honored to have graduated with every one of you!!
